Just to let you know that we have some updates, which can be read in the link below.

http://www.maxperformancecars.com/index.php?option...

In short, we are planning to do the first group of conversions in the USA after already having done some succesfull ones here in the EU. We are thinking about August, and the place will be San Diego, so if you are interested and will be able to be there, then please contact me (or SanDiegoMac).

Andre.

PS This will be for 4.0/4.2 XKRs and XJRs.

I have been to busy putting the miles on the car and trying to take the grin off my face to report, sorry

WHAT can I say, with an extra 35% power it must be like a drug, you just want to go out and use it.

As Andre has said 'Getting the traction down can be a problem' but I find providing you don't go silly off the line it can be tamed, the real benifit is when you want to go passed someone do say 60 you don't need that much of a gap with on comming traffic to get past.

Limited Slip Diff is on the card for the future though.

I have this week been experimenting with BP's 102 RON petrol.
This would not be a long turm use at £2.42 per Lt and £150 a tank full, I think I will only use this tank full before reverting back to the usual 97/98 RON

As for normal driving, a bit toungue in cheek, my MPG has gone down by about 10% but with an extra 35% BHP being used I feel that is a good trade off.

As for noise, there is some extra but I don't feel it is over powering so I am quite happy about that, infact it is music to my ears, although that maybe because I have a Coupe so not so noticable than in a Convertible.

We are now looking to fit a different induction pipe from the air filter to the throttle body to help the air flow to the Supercharger, we feel that should release another 25 BHP and then allow us to fit a smaller top pully to gain even more.
