It's still in "Beta Mode" but really is as stable as a release candidate.
I'm using it right now, it is faster, smoother, and they've finally sorted out the bookmarking issues. The UI may raise eyebrows with some though.

Highly Recommended.

Been using it under Ubuntu Hardy Heron for a few weeks now. My only gripe is the incompatability of a number of useful extensions.

I've been running the beta on both the works and personal laptops.

Works one only has irregular updates, but I downloaded a very early beta on the personal one, and thats setup for daily updates - it was pretty unreliable early on (it does seem bizarre to see MS VC++ errors!), but of late its been absolutely rock solid.

The only time I use IE now is for the works webmail - outlook webmail decided to render in "stupid" mode for anything other than ie ....

I have them both running in my Kubuntu PC. Their settings are stored in different folders and they co-exist happily together. I will be removing FF" at the weekend.

Looks like I'm installing 2 on the Virtual Machine for testing purposes then. Shame about the lack of Google Toolbar, comes in handy being able to check pagerank.

What have you found it lacking?

Haven't really bothered with any extensions, but the search facility is massively better than anything else I've used, and it does definitely appear faster.

another annoyance or two

a) it auto-denies any website with a self signed / mis matching SSL certificate and I cant seem to find the option to turn this off (I know it's there to protect the majority, but I work on alot of kit and dont want this, and dont want to have to add an exception every time!)

b) it doesnt seem to auto-fill instantly my password boxes like V2 used to.. I seem to have to click the box to get it to auto-fill..
having said that, it does seem to on one website ... weird.
