Possibly a stupid question so I won't bore you to death with the details. I'm not sure if this is a place to ask but most people in here have experience with AM dealers so it's worth a try biggrin

If I went into an Aston dealer, told someone working there I'm a graphic design student and asked (nicely of course) for a brochure or any graphic design related to Aston Martin (leaflets or things) they wouldn't tell me where to go? The AM dealer in Wilmslow seemed to have friendly staff when I went inside once, but is it actually worth asking? Is there even anything they could give me if I asked?

Thanks and sorry for the odd question

I'm sure if you asked nicely...

Have you tried ordering their literature via the internet? smile

Just pop in and ask, i've got loads of brochures etc from Aston. Failing that, ring up and say your father is interested but too busy to come in, can he have some literature etc. You shouldn't have a problem.

Asking for stuff is how we all started our collections. And if they do say no (ask nicely and I'm sure they wont) then so what????

Also, dont forget to ask if you can sit in one. Always lovely..

Let's get real

If you don't ask, you won't get. On the subject - sort of - of dealer freebies... Welwyn Grange - AM dealer - had allowed a freelance photographer in there taking close-ups for over an hour. I asked him why he was taking the photos and he replied that he was doing a feature on the 7 deadly sins - the Astons were to go in the "Lust" section.

A nice bloke at Ferrari London gave me a few things about 2-3 years a ago. I sat in a 360, He gave me a key ring and a brochure. And he obviously knew I had no intention of buying one.

Again, Aston Martin in chichester are VERY friendly!!! Then again, Aston Martin always are in my opinion.I sat in the DBS and he revved it. Made my day!

Ferrari can be a bit offish at times (Well, Lyndhurst) and im not even going to go there with Lamborghini.

Even at Goodwood they had roped of there cars, I mean, Whos going to spend £100 to get into GOS and key cars. laugh

Yeah, ask nicely and they will be sure to help.

Well it seems like it's worth trying anyway. I downloaded the PDFs already but I need the real thing really, so thanks for the responses everyone smile

Glad to hear you had a good experience with AM and Ferrari Olie biggrin Aston Martinwelcomed us when we went for a look last time but Ferrari just felt awkward. No doubt Aston Martin were the friendlier of the two, so I see what you mean
