SR4 going into neutral

I'm having a problem with my car on downshifts, 6th or 5th down to 3rd, it keep going into neutral. I am being a Tw*t or has anyone else experienced this??

Check your linkages for play first before you start on the engine

Linkages all seem ok, this happened a few times at Snet a couple of weeks ago, at Sears and the chicane. I then have to crunch it into 2nd gear and it's ok again. It's generally happening every time I drive the car, but not regularly on every lap,which makes it difficult to work out, but this was the second time in a race it's done it. I'm up at Silverstone next Friday/Saturday, if it does it again what do you suggest, gearbox re-build??

I would suggest strongly not driving it. There will be something amiss in the box and it will only get worse (read expensive) unless you have it attended to.
