New tyre time..any suggestions?

Need some recomendations for tyres for the 16" alloys I've just bought. Currently using Pirelli P6000s, but looking for a more quiet and comfortable ride with good life rather than high levels of performance.
Firestone, Dunlop and Bridgestone market mid to premium priced tyres aimed specifically at the touring rather than sports area of the market, a bit of Googling shows all have good feedback, but mostly on smaller cars.
Anybody used any of these brands instead of the OE Pirellis on an XJ? Any thoughts or opinions?
