Escort mk 3 wheel bearing

Hi Everyone,

I have just brought a mk3 Escort and a wheel bearing has gone does anybody know the price of a new one as i have been qouted about 160 pound just for a wheel bearing

Front or rear? How are you at doing the work yourself? The actual parts should be cheap enough - I did my rear wheel bearings and the bearing kit (inner and outer bearings and races, inner seal and sachet of grease) was about £8.50 per side IIRC.
