Performance figs

Hi everyone,

I'm a bit of an interloper on here. I've been considering getting a VXR for a while now and wondered what they were like performance wish when running around 500 bhp?

I currently have a Noble and eventually want to get a Z06. In the mean time i thought the above would be a good compromise as I don't use my Noble in bad weather (A lot of the time here then) and want something that is fun to drive and i don't mind taking out on runs when the weather is poor. I'm a bit of a clean freak and the Noble is a pig to get clean after a good run in the wet!!

Does anyone on here know what the 0-60 and 0-100 times are? I know figures aren't everything but it would give me an idea. Also what are they like with 500 bhp in NA form compared to strapping a SC on?

P.S. Just watched a vid of the VXR 500 on 5th gear and it looked a real laugh.

I had around 480bhp in my old sedan with the ls1. 13.2 quarter with 1.8 tons on stock 235 street tyres. 109 mph.
It drove real well. Better than a recent 6L supercharged I drove.
I prefer NA. TBH not many have gone the NA route, so you wont get much in the way of feedback from those who have driven both.

They do look like fun, which is the most important thing. I have seen and heard a few with the Wortec upgrades on some tunnel Runs I have taken part in. The noise is fantastic

Thanks for that mate.

Gives me a good idea of what to expect in relation to punch in the back. Do people on here find that the mods offered by WORTEC, I.E. headers, exhaust make a big difference at all? I have heard them in action on the runs and they sound the nutz!!
