I have had a stick on one for some time. Whilst they do not comply with the construction and use regs I haven't had a pull from the BIB as yet.

The main problrm is not the visabilty bit but complying with the refective requirements. If you can get a caravan type refective plate that ain't far away from the regs and you'd be unlucky to get pulled for it.
There are some members of the nobility with no front plate .

Worty, I had no front plate for 2 years then got pulled for it, have had a sticky on for the last 2 and a bit years mounted just above the splitter...never been told off for it, even though been pulled a couple of times by the Met. BIB., just need to replace it when the lights , louvres get fitted and the clam sprayed, plus treated it to a different plate. smile
