Just come out to wash my car and there it is, lying next to my gate. At first i thought it might just be asleep so i got a few little stones and threw em at it, no movement. Got closer and still nothing.
It's black and white no collar so what do i do with it?

Help?

Phone the local vet, I expect they would deal with it properly. Also anyone who has lost a cat locally will probably contact them to see if one has been found.

Councils are responsible for disposing of dead animals on roads - call them on Monday and tell them you have a stiff one....

Be nice to put a card up in the local shop. Someone will be looking for it.

Place it behind the wheel of a neighbour you don't like.

They will think they ran it over. You could even say it was yours and ask them for compensation.

Phone a local vet or RSPCA and take it there, they will scan it (and ck if it has a microchip or not) and take a description of it, they will also keep it for several days in the hope an owner will come forward. This is your best option.

I have to ask, why on earth did you think it was ok to throw a few small stones at a cat? Why didn't you just walk upto it and see if it moved!

How about having it stuffed, put up in your hallway and inviting all the neighbours round for a BBQ?

This one. I think most people have their cats chipped these days, so even if they lose their collar there's a chance of it being found.

Or try the supermarket if they're nearer.
