Just get it re-cored approx £100 usually. Standard Range Rover or SD1 (I can never remember which) with modified pipes - identification and work are no problem for any decent rad company. Good luck.

If you don't know where it is leaking from get it tested first. You don't want to pay for a recore it may not need.

Did the same work yesterday - not sure what a recore is though.

Steve,
Had the 420 item re-cored (end tanks refurbed - centre matrix changed) about 3 weeks ago. Excellent job for £100. They didn't recognise the Rad (the BBW is bigger than the standard item) but had a core and did the job in a day. Sits okay between 80-90 even on the hotest of days (e.g. Mania). A bit of a T*at to refit though.
Good Luck.

Dropping in or should I say from under the nose cone my 4 core rad upgrade on Saturday . Apart from dealing with some rusty nuts and bolts holding up the airdam - the job's been quite easy so far. I'll let you know if there's a big difference in the temp and running soon after.
