My 2 year old Rottie ran out into the road today and was fatally wounded. Never thought I'd cry over a pet, how wrong was I!!
The old lady in her Honda Jazz made this statement as I laid there holding him " I saw him running up the road before I ran him over ".......................
How horrible for you. Bloody old people. If she saw him, she should have put her foot on the brake. The old lady in her Honda Jazz made this statement as I laid there holding him " I saw him running up the road before I ran him over ".......................

Horrible thing to happen. Poor dog has had his eye on that fence/hedge/gate for two years and once it was big enough it only took a few seconds for it to find out why it was there.I know nothing of domestic animal husbandry so can't pass judgement on your level of responsibility.
this is gutting whatever.

Is there a reason this thread has attracted more bottom feeders than usual?
Who's a bottom feeder? Haven't seen anything nasty

Paoloh - really sorry to hear of your loss.

Hey P,
really sorry mate.
Know how you feel.. I lost my boxer 'Louie' last week after a long hard fight against cancer.
He was a fantastic dog as I'm sure your lad was too, think of the good times you had.
I balled my eyes out when Louie was put to sleep while I held him, more so than when my mum died last year. Sounds horrible but I was so attached to that little chap.
