I think Lewis may shine, although I'm (not very) secretly hoping that one of the BMWs will win this week.

Kimi's going to have to get it back together again and Heikki needs that first win, but I don't think he'll do it here.

Fingers crossed for pouring rain and me making it back from Malham Tarn in time to catch the race!

Lewis will be on a high after Monaco and on his return to where he took his first win... he'll either win (from Massa) or stick it in the Wall of Champions...

I'd like to see a BMW win just to give Mclaren and Ferrari a kick, however if it's dry I suspect it'll be the usual Massa/Raikonen/Hamilton battle.

As usual, if wet it could be anyones and a fair degree of luck with rain time, safety car time and fuel strategy.

I can see BMW doing well here too - they didn't seem to be as well suited to the slow track at Monaco but with some faster straights here I think Kubica's got a good chance.

Wasn't the Circuit Giles Vileneuve built on a Man-made island? Does that make it the most expensive circuit ever made (allowing for inflation obviously)?

i reckon the BMW's will be strong here - one of the most likely circuits for them to get their first win... (which they are a bit keen on - their trucks are all liveried up saying it's all about getting a win) especially if we get some rain - kubica didn't make any mistakes in a wet monaco so you've got to fancy his chances a little.

And it was built for the 1967 World Fair, not the GP. It was also used for the Olympics in 76, hence the big rowing basin near the pits.

The McLarens are running a very compliant setup here, and it looks like Bridgestone have gone extremely soft on sidewall stiffness, to cope with the bumpy track. Lewis is really on it.
