Best clutch for T350c ?

Need a new clutch on the girl and would be greatfull for some advice.

Do I fit a raceprove, which I am lead to believe that these are recon units or do I go for an AP clutch.
I am aware of various problems with clutches and clearance problems etc. My concerns are these spring cliups that push up against the flywheel. These have broken on my current original clutch after 20,000 miles.


If I purchase a raceprove clutch from CT are these components new?

Any advice on the above will be very much appreciated!

Replaced all my Sagaris clutch bits;

Hope this info helps

Original slave leaked at 2k miles, stopped leaking at 4k miles.

First & reverse always akward from 0 miles
Getting difficult when cold at 3k miles to double clutching at 5k miles

Got the lot out and found:-

Original clutch friction plate- not worn.

Slave leaking and thrust bearing noisy and without lubrication.



Spring fingers intact but worn on ends on thrust bearing contact points; reduced spring load found with test equipment.



Clutch fork/yolke worn in base



Flywheell thrust face- few hot spots but OK lapped back



THE REPLACEMENTS

New Raceproved Clutch Assembly ;Spring heat treated with larger contact area and induction hardened to stop wear

Raceproved lightweight aluminium slave with PTFE coated sliding surfaces



RESULT:

All the above bits =

Silky smooth changes including 1st, & reverse

No slave leaks and don't expect any.

Drives like a dfferent car

I understand Raceproved bits all new but fit better friction material.

I have had both and the Raceproved is better quality.
