When my wipers went yesterday, checked the bible for the fuse for the wipers, checked the one it said and it was intact. After 1 hr of checking wires/relays, checked my owners hand book to find that the wirpers were the fuse one below the one stated in the bible. Checked this fuse and it was blown.

Anybody else had this problem?

By seal the roof i assume your going to waterproof it if so i've used Autogylm seemed ok to be but others dont like it check reviews

I've also used Fabsil which is also good, not in reviews yet

Rennovo do a good renovation kit bit pricey but most like it also check reviews

Others use Thompsons waterseal i dont like but many do

Waxoyl i used the underbody treatment on the outriggers as its very thick and designed for high impact areas, the rest of the car i used the ordinary stuff, buying the kit if anybody stocks it near you will be cheaper in the long runwould be in reviews but Teds slacking

The rest i havn't got a clue sorry

Fuel guages are notoriously fickle, even when working they flop around by anything up to a quarter of a tank full. If its doign that, its perfectly normal.

Oil pressure is probably the sender; 10 minute job to remove and replace. Try to not cross the threads though.

Ahhh that's what I do with it. I was using it as a make shift tent, to live under next to my car.

No the fuel gauge and oil pressure just don't work anymore. What is the sender unit? As in is it a std Ford part?

I have no idea about the fuel sender, but as I`m sure everyone here will tell you, the oil senders are getting VERY hard to find these days. When mine went recently, I rang almost everyone who advertises in sprint and got down to the last few before I managed to get one from Tower View for around £46 with vat and postage.

You're kidding me!! I spent a day getting angry and trying to find a sender unit from ford, when I have about 10 mini sender units in my attic!!
