Factory Built Ultima
Discussion
Hi, interested in a factory built Ultima. Do you know if a car coming out the factory complete is then subject to me getting it SVAd.
I have the SVA manual and it must be home built by the individual to comply. Or does it fall into the realms of enhanced SVA (ESVA) and "Legally" classed as a factory supplied car.
cheers

Hi Craig, I've chat with Fran in regards to the SLC for few weeks. Hoping to visit the factory as well around October/November, if Fran's available around that date/time. Hopefully by then, the testing data of this vehicle will be out by then. Can you take as much pictures as possible? Would be even better if you're able to capture it on video.
I do like the front, and side of the car but the rear does not look finish to me. Especially with the center portion of the diffuser missing exposing the transmission. Another thing that really also gets to me is the steel tubing that supports the rear wing. It looks like tree branches. Talk to Fran about it but he mentioned that it's much more durable with steel tubing rather than aluminum plate wing stands. It could be steel, but my thought is a flat, wider plate to support the wing. It'll look aesthetically better than a thin tube.

That big-ass trans does look a bit funny being exposed like that but those massive diffusers next to it look the part.

Fran just updated the site.
That is a beautiful (Aspira) car Fran! How complete is the build manual? I would love it if there was a Wikipedia-like build manual online to allow the builders to own the build manuals. You could actually have it categorized as to the specific components that are being used and it would completely customize the build manual for your exact version of the car. It seems so simple, but I haven't seen it done yet. Nice looking Aspira.
