Hi there,

I was lucky enough to be given the opportunity to photograph a gorgeous Lamborghini Diablo SV yesterday. The current owner of this car has had it for three years and as it does not get used that much he is in the process of getting it back to tip top condition.

I had a pretty free reign over the photographs, the only thing that I feel lets these pics down a bit is the location. Unfortunately this was out of my control. The car was not cleaned especially for the shoot so there may be the odd bit of dirt in some of the pics.

As you all know I spend far to much time photographing cars and inparticular Supercars.

Alot of my pics have been static shots that I have not really thought about to much in advance and have taken quickly due to the fact the cars is usually on display at a show and there are crowds of people around.

Its time for me to get a bit more serious and to start building up a portfolio of images I can use to source further clients. These pics are my first attempt at being a bit different to my normal photosets and I am personally really pleased with them.

Below are the results. Please have a look at each image and pass any comments or criticism where you feel neccessary.

Cracking pics the first ones of the engine bay is that any one could take those so to speak. The best ones are the interior ones and the the one od the side of the car and the wheel. they look stunning.

Hi Tim, just thought of a costructive comment and seeing as I'm here (rather than elsewherewink ) here it is: The centre cap of the wheel is at an angle.
What impressed me about the Porsche display at MotorExpo was that all the wheels were the right way up, therefore giving a better impression and photo overall. Although I'm not expert on these things, it's just something I notice. Keep on enjoying yourself

Hi there,

Many thanks guys for all the comments and constructive critcism, its always a pleasure to shoot such superb cars and much of the time it would be impossible without the help of some of the owners who frequent sites like this one.

The Diablo SV in these shots is a superb car and one of only 9 RHD's in existance I believe.

Perhaps not exclusive enough though, my next shoot is a real stunner.

This one is one of only 50 in the world and one of only 2 RHD drive cars in the UK.

More pics of the Murcielago to follow in the next couple of days.

Tim

Absolutely beautiful, the car and the pictures.

I always take the time to look at your pics, and they always deliver.

Of these, I LOVE 6 and 14.

6 is an absolute corker, but 14 just shows to me, exactly what the Diablo is about.

One day....

Hi there,

No definitely not. This Murcielago is owned by a great guy who runs a company not far from me, the pics were taken outside his office.

Hi there,

Only got one or two, was to busy shooting the outside of the car and the little details. Really like the colour scheme, it suits the car.

14 is one of the best car shots I've seen in a while. As another poster noted, it really captures the spirit of the car. Stunning

Hi Tim,

I know this car.

The interior colour combination gives the game away. The car was specced by Jason Barker and was a one off.

Original spec was Ice blue exterior with two tone blue alcantara interior.

Only one other UK 1999 SV was specced with a full alcantara interior.

Does anyone know why this car had its exterior colour changed from ice blue? The shark gills are no longer present either.

A friend of mine nearly bought this car brand new at the NEC motorshow.

I remember Jason commenting on his colour choices prior to taking delivery of the car. He admitted that he was a little worried about his decision until he actually saw the car for real.

Regards,

Warren
