does anyone know if the official bmw repair centres take on small work such as paintless dent removal, ive managed to drop a pair of pliars on my pride and joy z4m which has caused a ripple in the paint, im absoloutly gutted by this and dont really trust these dent devil peeps, has anyone used an official bmw replair place for paintless dent removal and how much did they charge? the dent has access from behind and theirs no paint damage.

pdr is on the increase in most areas, your main dealer will prob know of someone but they will add a percentage , you would be better arranging it yourself, look on net or yellow pages they are all mobile and will come to your home or work.

BMW have quite a few dent technicians. I used to be one of them. They operate at the distribution depot at Thorne, near Doncaster. They aren't available to retail customers, though. Around Doncaster/Yorkshire quite a few ex employees trade under various names. The dealership network uses the local companies that are available to them. I would recommend you ring a few local dealers and find out who is the best in your area. Don't just ring BMW dealers, car make is of little relevance in this trade. You are looking for the best person, not company. It is a totally individual skill, and there is only one chance to get it right before it goes to the paintshop, so choose carefully. Good luck.

BTW, I have nothing to do with Dentcraft.co.uk. A totally seperate company. I've been trading longer than them, but have never advertised ( already too busy ).

Hi, off the top of my head there is me , but I live in New Zealand. Doug, but he lives in Perth, Australia. Ian, but he lives in Sydney, Australia.

Try Rob, Dents 2000. Or Nigel( can't remember the name, but he operates East Yorkshire ). Or Phil, he works for dents plus. Others do a little on the side.
