You should come say hello at one of the races. We've done the speed events now and have our first "proper" race at Oulton this weekend :-)

First race at Oulton and in the wet..........baptism of fire

No chance - I've been doing my sundance all week and Kim reckons the weather will be OK so that must be the case

Was up there a couple of weeks ago and it was wet for the first hour. Needed a diaper to get through Druids without making a mess...

You could do a lot worse! My first ever race in the academy in 2005 was at Cadwell...

It was just about the worst conditions i've ever raced in to this day - standing water on the straights, zero visibility, zero runoff... First race in Superlights at Combe came close earlier this year... Deploying 230bhp at 110mph in similar conditions, getting wheelspin going into 5th with zero visibility, but it didn't quite touch the pure fear of that first ever race! A few actually pulled in after the green flag lap!

I'm glad I did it though, and it was relatively carnage free!
