Partition Recovery Utility
Discussion
Has anyone had any experience of such software? The bad start to the week just got a whole lot badder.
As a result, I need to try & recover a logical drive (or at least all the work form last week). It was a primary partition, no operating system but is part f a raid array so probably a windows utility rather than dos (although if the drivers are loaded it may also work).
I have a demo version of this running to see if anything if found http://www.recoverdatatools.com/buy-ntfs-data-reco... - most of the data seems there.
Also looking at this http://www.partition-recovery.com/download.htm
Any help greatly appreciated.

Download Trinity Rescue Kit and run the 'testdisk' utility on that. I've used it for real a couple of times to recover accidentaly deleted partitions and it works very well. Works on dynamic disks etc. allthough after recovery it will revert back to being a basic disk. Read the docs about it on the TRK site first though, as TRK just boots to a scary command prompt.
