Internet Explorer Shows Local Drive Folders In History List

Hello

For some reason my Internet explorer has started to display the folders I have viewed on the local drives in the address drop down list. Whilst this isn't a problem I don't recall changing any settings & would like this list to only show the frequently visited websites. Any ideas? I'm running IE pro v2.3 on vista home premium.
