Ive downloaded a torrent from utorrent and there is no video when I play it back through windows media player,real player or quicktime.I can hear the sound ok,but there is no video.What am I doing wrong???

Try using http://www.videolan.org/vlc/ which plays nearly most things out there.

also search for xp codec pack if your on xp, or vista codec pack if your on vista.

Should sort out all your players.

Sooo annoying when you double-click the avi file and all you hear is 'groan groan, grunt grunt, squelch'.

A torrent is simply a text file that tells the torrent client where to get the file from

maybe when it has downloaded, u can tell us all the extension of the file, like *.avi *.mp3 ?
