After months of planning, waiting, saving and reading stuff on here, I've put my money where my mouth is and done if. I've shelled out hard earned cash and bought a beautiful Imperial Blue 4.0 R reg. I've never been so nervous in my entire life! But the deed is done, and now I have to wait until Saturday morning... not sure how I'm going to wait that long... any suggestions?

get very, very, very drunk... sleep it off for four days, wake up refreshed (and sober) and get in your new motor.
There's no way you're going to sleep between now and then sober ... and every minute will seem like a week!

I know exactly how you feel, I finally bit the bullet last week.

I've now got to wait until Friday to pick up a Rolex Blue 4.0 T Plate.

It's going to be a long week for both of us.

All the best and here's praying for a Sunny weekend.

Congratulations!

This one?

Nice colour, if it is. Mind you that's a Porker (Iris Blue) colour according to the write-up.

I'm with the rest on the sleeping bit. Oh, and try to remove the silly grin from your face at least twice a day. It'll give your cheek muscles a chance to relax.

Gutted to say, but I can't drink until Sunday afternoon! Unfortunately am racing (running, not my new baby!) on Sunday morning, so must stay dry...

My friends are already bored with the whole thing, as is everyone at work... but still grinning like the proverbial cat

V8 Archie - don't think it's quite the same colour, but you can never tell on these machines. I'll get some pictures just as soon as I get it!

Might phone them up tomorrow and see if it'll be ready earlier. Surely they don't need a week

D50cyx,
Well done . That grin that you described never seems to go away. Where in London are you based ?. Feel free to come and visit us in Surrey (www.tvrcc-surrey.co.uk) as there are a few events happening soon, the more the merrier.
Have fun!

Well done......It's very similar to mine...you will NOT regret it ever....I smile to myself every time I walk to the garage knowing the fun laying behind the door!!! The best bit to start with is the shocking amount of looks and comments people make!!! (All positive)!!!
