what to add to diesel
Discussion
I presume you're talking about running the car on veg oil?
Rapeseed oil and corn oil seem to be the favourites for this I'm very reliably informed that providing you've got a Bosch pump on it and don't go too mad with the percentage ( is no more than 50 /50 with diesel) it will run just fine
Sad thing is tho veg oil prices these days mean you'll only save about 10p / litre over diesel

I ran my Sunny on it before prices got stupid. In summer it ran best on 70% oil, but ran just fine on it neat too. I now run on bio diesel as there's a manufacturer a couple of miles down the road from me @ 1.05ppl.
As said above, with anything that's not a Lucas pump you should be fine, although on a 50/50 mix starting @ 3 degrees above freezing gave a horribly lumpy idle for 30 seconds or so. Little bit of throttle got the fuel pulled through quick enough.
The car always runs quieter and smoother on veg oil mix than it does on straight diesel.
