knocking clio

Hi all,

I've took ownership of a 97 1.2 renault clio, but in the past 50miles or so, under braking or cornering, there is a knocking/banging noise coming from the front end. It isn't effecting the way the car drives, the only noticable difference is a slight jusdder when accelerating out of a corner, It has also done it a couple of times during gearchange..

I'm thinking possibly driveshaft/cv joints??

Any ideas??

It does sound like a drive shaft.

You can test it by twisting the shaft.. there should be no movement .. or get a mechanic to check it out.
