Hi Guys, I have a E46 M3 coupe, just noticed that when I drive it from cold, the first 5 miles there is an intermitant sqeeking/rattle noise coming from the offside rear wheel, I thought it might be some thing to do with the exhaust bracket because after a while it stops once it has warmed up. It does sound like the wheel.

I have just chekced to see for anything obvious but I cant see anything, has anynody else expirienced anything like this before. Could it be the suspension? I dont notice any different with the handling.

Your views would be greatly appriciated.

Many thanks

Regards

Chris

I have had similar noises in the past that turned out to be a stone trapped in the stone guard of the brakes. If it's this you'll need to take the wheel off and manipluate the guard until the stone(s) fall out. HTH Steve
