I realise this topic has been covered before but .......

What are the opinions on Toyo Proxes T1-Ss for a TVR Chimaera ?

As far as I see they are reasonably priced and have scored very good marks in EVO mag's tyre tests last year. They performed better than the Bridgestone S03s especially in the wet. Downsides are possibly road noise and wear - info. from same test.

Is anyone using Toyos front and back on their Chimaera and have any comments.

i have a new set of toyos all round and had SO2 b4.
IMHO they are definately quieter but i think this is due to a softer wall which has made the handling slightly different. In the wet they seem fine but we havent had much.Better dampers/springs might help the set up/wall softness as they are a 55 and 50 series on my chim which nowadays is a tall wall.Would i buy again? maybe not might try something else....

they're the next best thing to SO 2's IMO but some people get on ok with SO 3's. Temper this with the fact I have a lower profile which makes a tyre such as the SO 3 with stiff sidewalls very twitchy

Mine are the new Z rated at the front and they were already z rated for the rear.
