Nice interior.....looks like its lost its sidways out exhaust system. Does that mean TVR are back in business then?

Excuse my ignorance but what's the difference between that and the old Sagaris other than the exhausts?

I believe they plan to sell half of the production run to America. Just what I've read on here, might be pure speculation like most of what's written.

Well, that barn is the one that was in a news story a couple of months back.

As I recall, suggestions that they were back in business were scoffed at the time!

The whole interior is new. Looks a bit bland to me compared to the last generation.

However it is great news that something is happening with TVR! I got the flyer in my TVR mag this month event a week or so ago - shame it was at other end of the country to me.

laugh

They've found someone with even more money and less clue than Moleskins then?

How do you think the litigious nature of the US would treat TVR reliability?

New bonnet.
New back end and exhaust system to the original Sagaris.
New wheels.
New Interior.

Quite a lot given the low volume nature of the car.

Not at all sure about the steering wheel, or the ruddy great screen. Screens like that a great in barges like big BeeEms and Lexii, but plonking them in sports cars to me just shows a loss of focus... TVR have never been about interior toys and equipment, the car's the toy surely.

Pretty sure the old Sagaris switched over to rear-exit exhausts midway through production. IIRC something to do with drive-by noise levels?

I joined this site 5yrs ago because I wanted to buy a Cerbera, so please don't misjudge my passion when I say I am thouroughly "nothing" about this.

They can do as many press / limited previews as they wish, but unless there has been significant change in production processes, materials and management then I can't see what has changed. Certainly it's not the shape of the "new" Sagaris.

TVR alienated a lot of it's customers in the last few years of trading and I can't see there is much market available to them that it hasn't let down, or will be aware of their former shortcomings (America not withstanding).

It would be amazing if the cars turned in to what they always could (and should) have been, and if it happens I will be first on the list to buy one - but for now, I think they really need to take a close look at their branding, and what the TVR name currently says to it's potential customers.
