Honda engine running on 3? help

I have a K20 Honda engine and has a habit of running on 3 randomly when driving along.
I have removed all the wire covers on the engine. (it has 4 coil packs) to see if i could find a broken wire, I cannot find any? However if I touch the wires going to the coils very lightly then it knocks out one or another cylinder? Could it be a bad earth?
