love the dear old thing , got the E28 from its first owner for free 525I E28 , not a ding or a scratch smile
that is until this mate had it for the weekend and managed to hit speedbump - crack sump and continue driving.
Not realising anything till bank breakaway piston number five . So since we've gonna be spannering it seems good to up power and the alloy M50 24 vanos from 1991 seems like a good proposition and cheap. In my E30 the engine plug wiring is similar To the later 5 series, so i should think i can just unplug from E28 plug the relevant E34, E36 engine harness?
could anybody give directions as to wiring and especially to difficulty ? the box should be good fit no ? as bottm end is supposed to be a straight evolution of old M20 ?
cheers for enlightening me -
have got E3 saloon spares if of any interest free to good home
cheers

your're right , i donno why i said alloy, are we all agreeing though that gearbox and space should be ok , or are inner wings mods required
i don't really wanna mess the old girl up - i treat her with respect
cheers for your insight
