Good man! If finances will stretch that far, you *must* go for the V8! There were a couple advertised in last month's Sprint. They seem to be advertised at around 12-14k. The V6 S is cheaper (to buy and run) and I think you would be looking at around 7-8K. It's well worth geting yourself a copy of Steve Heath's S Series bible as this tells you what to look for before you buy, and how to look after it afterwards. (Details at www.tvrcc.com). Cheers, Peter Humphries (and a green V8S)

I agree with Peter, go for a V8S if money allows. If going for a V6, the general rule of thumb is the later model the better, S4 is extreamly rare, you stand more chance of an S3C, they have the torque advantage over ther earlier models. Ted's got some good info on the range on this site but for more detailed reading Steve Heaths book is a bible. Dave.
