Immobiliser on a 2005 Mondeo Titanium X - Thatcham rating?

Does anyone know what Thatcham rating the immob is - is it a 1 or a 2, and how do you tell? Insurers warranty says it is a 2, just want to be sure!

Only ST models have CAT1 according to my book

cheers dave, I take it 1 is beter than 2 then! You were bang on with the reversing switch too, sorted under ford direct warranty. Enjoying the new car, really nice drive, and its a huge load carrier!

CAT 1 is the best, trust me though the alarm on my ST is NOT very loud at all. Although i guess the imobiliser side of it is good? Enjoy the car
