What for? Something like a heated rear window or a wiper relay?

My plan is for once the ignition is turned on, you only have say 2 mins to press the engine start button, thus also meaning you can only press it once and it wont operate again (for example when the engine is running)..

You need a multi-functional timer, the type used in industrial control panels.

Go to any good electrical wholesaler that deals in industrial not just domestic gear and ask for the above.

I would advise that you use the output of the MF timer to switch a relay just in case the load you are switching is too inductive.

The data sheet that comes with the timer is prey self explanatory.

Shouldn't cost more than £15.

There are a lot of these type of timers on the market. I used one on a Westfield, the same way you have mentioned. They are normally only low amp contacts, so its best to trigger a heavier relay with them.
The post above seems to suit your needs though.

a cheap option would be to use a heated window relay, I wired in a peugeot 306 one in my old phantom...

Cant thank everybody enough, has some really good ideas on here and PM to me so thanks!

I went with the easy option and Phoned polevolt. Its taken the hassle right out! basically they seem to have a relay for anything you can think of, very helpful!

Thanks Again,
