Ok. So how many Ultima owners are going to the premier evening social event of the year?

We're going, and I'm sure that Stig will put in another appearance (although hopefully Mrs. Stig will prevent him from joining in with the band like he did last year).

Anybody else?

James, what is the Black Tie & Pie -- and when?? Dian and I are in the UK on the 12th-15th. Our GTR is completed and I believe the factory is going to put in on the stand at the Donnington Park show. Around this time frame?

It's the Pistonheads annual dinner, pissup, pretend to be able to dance thing.

A great laugh. Meet up with people you only know via the forums and discover that they really are as obnoxious in real life as they are on the Internet

It's on November 8th. Well worth another trip over from Prague of you can make it

Stig,

May your Honeymoon be like an old TV set...four wobbely legs and a worn out knob

Sure will. We should be heading out that way in the next couple of months.

Where are you going to be in the UK? If you're nearby, maybe we could meet up for a drink and a chat.

James, will email you directly. Am glad to be picking up the GTR on Monday. It has all the higher end options offered by the factory, except the splitter. Added the Accusump, Cat 1 alarm/immobiliser, removeable steering wheel and dust cover at the last moment. Richard has already burned it in for 300 miles and is checking it over before pick-up -- very comforting.

Good luck. They do recommend the splitter for travelling over 200mph, and you have all of Germany to drive across on the way home, so you may want to give them a call

I made Calais to Prague in 7 hours when I went out there once. I hope to hear that you've beaten my time
