OK, I found out today that I'm going to get a £500 cheque for a report I wrote, instead of a £250 checque.
Always nice eh ?

I was going to get a Sigma 10-20 mm from Kerso and maybe the 70-300 mm Canon too, but the allure of 'L' glass has caught my eye.

What would you do - go for the Canon 70-200 mm USM IS L, or the Sigma 10-20 plus the Canon 70-300.

Will I get sick of the 70-300 and wish I had bought the 70-200 at some later point.

I'll undoubtedly get the Sigma 10-20 at some point, it just has to be done....

I've a Canon 17-85mm, 50 mm and 28 mm at the moment.

70-200 F2.8 if you can stretch, F4 is very good too.

70-200F4 is a fine lens, opticaly as good as the f2.8 (or better) just a stop slower, but lighter.

I love my 10-20 and mainly do landscapes, but saying that the 70-200 is a cracking lens for landscapes too....
