When on neutral throttle there seems to be a loose sounding rattle from the engine, not loud but noticable. If you reduce the throttle position or increase it, the noise disapears. Any ideas?

I did have a quick look for loose bits but everything seemed ok. It only needs a very small change in throttle position to make it disappear. I'll have a better look tomorrow.

I had something like this and it was the wall between the wheel and the engine bay, just needed to bend the end a bit.

This can be the idler shaft in the gearbox. not a problem, just adjust the tickover. Check by seeing if it disappears with thge clutch disengaged.

yes I have a rattle at tickover sometimes. It does disappear when I press the clutch pedal though.
the noise I can hear is when you are driving the car.
