I'm averaging about 500 miles per week on her so gets dirty easily so this time I thought would give it a good clean up and then use a paint cleanse and sealant to protect it through winter...

Doesnt look bad at all considering done 26k miles now ...

Pretty pleased how it turned out ... nearly ten years old too ... nothing wrong with Jap build qualitywink

LOL ... its bad enough that the Wife wants me to clean her Triumph...

I dont ever use wax on my chains - thats how it stays so clean... gear oil \ scottoil only ... works a treat and I havent had to adjust the chain yet either.

Oil can splatter a little but its MUCH easier to clean off than wax.

Glad you like it ... planned to sell it shortly as fancy a ZX9R but I think will be keeping it for a while longer now smile

Have you got anymore information/pics of the process involved in the detail? Perhaps on Detailing World?
