Hi Guys,

First hello

Just purchased my wife a e46 M3 (2001) and its absolutely brilliant (she's a bit of a petrol freak too!).

The car is nearly mint with a few additional things that I need to sort out...

1) The headlamp washers don't work (don't extend out) - does anyone know the cost of sorting this ?

2) The cover of one of the headlamp washers fell out so I need to get a new one - any idea where to get one and cost?

3) The front windows make a slight 'popping' sound when they go below 3/4 of the way down (no noise on way back up) - is this normal? If not what am I looking at to sort ?

4) The rear seat doesn't have a cap which covers that metal thing where you can connect a child seat - again any idea where I can get and costs?

5) Finally I would like to do three things to the interior trim and again I'm after parts and costs...

a) I would like to re-leather the steering wheel as there is some wear
b) I would like to change the grey plastic trim near the SMG box and the grey plastic trim on the door handle (the long piece that stretches down to the arm rest on the door)
c) I would like to put rear led lights in

Sorry for all the question but I want to get it to mint standard.

Thanks for your help - I look forward to helping others as I become a more fully embeeded member !!

Cheers

Dave

The trim pieces will all be available from the dealer, and probably cheaper than you'd think. Log on to www.realoem.com to have a look at the parts you require.

Thanks Dan.

My trim pieces are a grey/silver type colour - quick question - is there anyway of someone sanding down the peel / cracks on the trim and then respraying it ? Maybe that would be an easier option....
