Pete, Halfords superstores have a good selection of glasses - I think it is from a Citroen BX

Actually it's from a Citroen CX late model (or Lotus Esprit). Either might be hard to come by at Halfords, it's well worth taking a paper pattern and comparing to some other cars -- I've not measured but the mirror glass on my Jag XJR looks very similar in size/shape and they are a little thicker on the ground than old Cits/Loti/Tivs. Please let us all know if you find one that fits, happy hunting.

I had to replace one when I had a Chim. Its from a Citroen CX, lotus esprit or Jag XJ220!. Halfords ordered one for me but I gave up after 3 months, Citroen dealer wanted more for a non heated mirror than the TVR dealer wanted for a heated version. I think it cost arround £32 but I cant be sure. Take care when fitting, there is a small black slider under the bottom edge. Slide it one way to release the glass and then back again to secure the new one. Hope this helps Duncan

ended up getting one from Team Central @ £30 but as I bought the car from them they would do me a special deal...probably £35..only kidding TC

They are about £50 from Citroen themselves so that is a very good price.I was quoted £55 + Vat for the heated version from a dealer.The mirrors are used on a lot of serious sports cars inc ,early Mclaren F1,XJ220,Lotus Esprit/Excel,Marcos,Spectre R42,Aston Martin Vantage,Renault Spider and probably others!.
