Carpet Fitting

This weekend I'm embarking on the task of recarpetting my S2 - got the underlay and the carpet just need to cut and fit.

1) Anyone done this themselves?
2) Was it tricky?
3) does the carpet need glueing down?
4) recommend any good stuff?

Kill any insects you find in the car!! They scare the s**t out of you when you're driving, or when the gf screams while you're driving.

No really, I haven't done it to the S but I did my mini myself. I stuck the sides down with some weird spray on carpet glue. If you can't find this use Evostick, contact adhesive. I wouldn't stick the bottom/floor mats down. Makes cleaning easier. Also a sharp scalpel or stanley knife helps.

Let me know how it goes. I want to get over mats for mine before the weather gets wet, but can't find any to fit, so I'll probably make them.
