could anyone suggest a list of common bits I should buy to have handy in the car/garage. I've heard 40a blade fuses are a good starter , coolant, Mobil 1,..........please feel free to add your favourites........

Suggest some muscle relaxing cream for the sides of your mouth from all the grinning !!

If you're going abroad, possibly a fan belt and accelerator cable. They are both based on Land Rover items but are not the same. At least if you have spares you can get a local mechanic to fit them.
