After a number of naive newbie-type questions and patient responses (thanks to those concerned BTW!) I can declare myself a owner of a V8SC....woohoo etc.

Kept the roof up all the way home down the M4 because the weather was cr@p on the way and subsequently it was a lovely evening! Took the car out for a bijou blast-ette on Sunday afternoon and it pished down!

No pics yet (no digital camera) but for the time being imagine RichardR's S3 with a different bonnet and biscuit interior.

Stand by for some REALLY daft questions....

just so you dont feel lonely i have just bought a S3 and am likely to ask the same mind blowing questions as you!!! I have been listening in on the past couple of weeks and have just plucked up the courage to put pen to paper as they would say.I got mine from dream machines in cooper green. Hope to join in from now with my limited knowledge(but lots in the plumbing and heating if anybody needs it)

Hey! I think I'm going to count that as a 'spotted'!

Welcome to the S fold. And may I complement you on your choice of colour.

P.S. Now would be a good time to dig out the wooly hat and thick gloves. Saves that panic when that first really cold clear day arrives!

Enjoy!

Very nice... welcome to the nut house...

You guys shouldn't worry about being a "newbie" and asking "stupid" questions... we all start there.

Search the archives... and between that and the "old guard" you'll be pointed in the right direction...
