Following the "fuse 22" thread for the V8/DB9 cars.. what is the situation for the Vanquish?

Have heard that you can only wire the exhaust valves open, to get the full fat sound effect!

Cheers
Rob

Correct mate - if you pull the fuse it leaves it has the opposite effect. Works service can wire up the desired effect

I believe you can unplug the vacuum pipe on the Vanquish. Probably talking b****cks. Sorry.

When I pulled the fuse, yes got a light. It was pointless though.

Works Service told me they can do it so it has the desired effect and also doesnt give fault lights, etc

Give them a call

I had this done on my Vanquish - and no, it's not a fuse.

It involves taking both rear wheels off and plugging the vacuum hose under each wheel arch that supplies the exhaust valve. Works Service did mine - it was worth the effort but could have been done more cheaply elsewhere.

Not as simple as a 430, which I did in 2 mins.. with a couple of golf tees.
