Chris Harris's 911 for sale
Discussion
Short video clip of the car with Chris narrating. Apparently he's prioritizing feeding the family above it. The poofter.

Anyone seen the actual ad anywhere?

great car.
a bit ott for a old motor though.
very hard to price.
would be better broken to get your money back , or convert to classic rally car i think.
40k ish ?.
first look at his new project too.
nice sight, great to have a online mag - but you cant be piston heads !
Whilst I don't know what similar cars actually sell for, I think this appears similar at £75k (to my no-911 specialist eye): http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/573988.htma bit ott for a old motor though.

So Chris's obviously has a 3.4 engine, which I suspect is "better". Seems like a lot of money, but undeniably a very nice car.
Are you guys for real? Did you not hear Chris refer to it as "The green sh*tter"?.. It shouldn't be worth £20k, let alone £50k!
As the owner of one "red sh*tter", I don't have room in my garage for it.
I like the weight (< 1 tonne) and his car control with those oversteers into the corners, but the colour? And no rear wing? Carreras are what Porsche did before they knew what they were doing - the 911 proper started circa 1974 with the 3.0 Turbo - defined the 911
And, please, no 2.7 stubby-ducktailed nonsense..

indeed stunning !
looks better than green for me to.
but for that kind of money ?
its only a rep as is mr harris.
surely in the low 40,S ?
i had big money spends on old rally cars, and you would never expect to get your money back , or 25% even.
you build it for you , and when your done go for the best price you can get and that includes marketing the best way possible - your own web site !.

Never been too keen on Mr Harris' selling process in the past. Buys something to run then sells it to the reader along the lines of my current steer is totally amazing just the best thing ever made people had better wake up fast and buy as prices are rocketing and soon there wont be any about..Then about a month later offering feeble excuses how it;s going to have to be sold as the recent sharp rise in value is interfering with his owning and driving experience and he only over purchased said car because he'd always wanted one etc etc.. Can't blame him bolstering his own interests but it always came across a little obvious for me...
As for the green rep a step too far - will surely get his fingers burnt!! £60k max
