The Eyes Have It

This month I'd like to see shots of eyes, any kind of eye, or something that looks like an eye, or represents an eye. The main criteria is that the eye or eyes are the main focus (see what I did there) of the shot, or are what makes the shot.
Any significant PP, please mention it in your entry post.

Single caveat No shots of the London Eye please, it's almost a photographic cliche now. smile

If things still aren't clear, use this thread for your queries and to post your images for C&C from the PH regulars.

Happy shooting, and good luck!

Cheers folks, I do like the second shot. Probably my closest/favourite macro shot to date. I keep thinking if I had shot at 5:1 (rather than the 3:1 it was shot at) what I would have found. It had just finished eating some dead thing or bird poo when I took that shot.

love the first one Mrs Fish smile

I don't really have many portrait shots (not that I'm saying it has to be a human eye,) but it means that I have a challenge over the next couple of weeks...

Don't think this one is relevant... the eyes are fixed but its probably the body composure which is the main theme.. anyway

Your second shot is wonderful John. You can almost feel the tension between the couple. That's a superb relationship that says so much about the couple and their relationship (or at least infers it).

I love the photograph of the little girl too. Lovely warm tones and lovely expression capturing all that it is to be a young child beautifully.
