A8 Injector Replacement
Discussion
I've been having ignition problems with my 2003 A8 TDI in so far as the engine would only start when the engine was cold. I could drive 10 minutes down the road but if I tried starting the engine again it wouldn't start until I left it for at least 90 minutes. I have now been told by Audi that I need to replace all 8 injectors at a cost of £4k!! This follows a full replacement of the cylinder head (and all chains and tensioners) just a few months ago at a cost of £6k. Basically, I have had the car 2 years, driven less than 10,000 miles and had repair costs of £10k (over a third of the cost of what I paid for it). Anyone know whether I have any come back with Audi? The car has only done 61,000 miles, surely they are more relaible than this?
