VXR meets at Silverstone or Brands?

Do we know if there will be VXR meets planned for the BTCC rounds at Silverstone in Aug and Brands in Sept?

most likely to be Brands if they do go ahead - end of season and Vauxhall winning the championship again the way things stand. Heard a rumour they are considering scrapping the events after this year. Not surpising when they cant get enough people to use the tickets they buy.

Don't suppose anyone is considering coming up to Knockhill for the next event....hardly likely if you wont get north of Birmingham!! If anyone is tempted to take a short break north of the border the Vauxhall Sports Car Club are arranging to park up together and have a "stand" next to the drivers lounge, assuming its in the same place as last year. Does mean being at the circuit for around 7-7:30am though so its a very early start but all welcome.

Personally not decided yet whether to do Brands or Silverstone, got a track voucher I could use at Silverstone on the Monday and its a lot closer than Brands but hey whats another 100 miles or so and it is a better viewing circuit even if we do have to park on the grass/mud. Will need to see when I can take some time off as neither race falls on school mid term holidays this year. Will do Knockhill and one of the other two though so even if theres no VXR event may bump in to some of you down there.

There will be a 'National' vxr meet at Silverstone BTCC according to sources, nothing announced about Brands yet but I wouldn't be surprised at all if that was another vxr meet! Course some of us go even when they're not official meets
