Couple of question, do you find the problem is there after a few hard runs, or the engine is warm? If so, you need to replace your IC (intercooler) Pump. A very common problem on the E and SL class. You stealer should replace under warranty FOC.

sounds like intercooler pump. my e55 is in the dealers with the same problem, they said it was pump or relay. My intercooler always remained stone cold, dose yours ?
