Hello. know there have been numerous threds on this but I am after specific experiences with the new x5.

What chips have people gone for?

Any problems they have noted?

Gains that they have noticed?

Any problems with their dealership (this is the main worry for me).

Would they recomend it?

I have never chipped a car before apart from our 110landrover but that was done by the dealer so had no warrenty concerns. Superchips, DMS and a few others make good claims but you can not beat word of mouth. Cheers

break something?? The diesel's are ripe for remapping and if they're done properly (which is why I named the 2 best) then it is perfectly safe and will make a huge improvement to the car, you'd be mad not to IMO

Well do your research properly, all remappers will remap cars without investigating the drivetrain, what gearboxes are in those and what's their max rating?

I'd a tuning box on my e70 (www.tuningbox.com)

Great results, big difference in power, loads more torque, slightly better economy. AND it can be removed in five mins.

Highly recommended.

Am interested in the spide box or the tunit box. Both seem to have decent reviews
