Well, after fitting a new electric aerial and tidying up the wiring behind the tunnel fascia ... the aerial lead from the back to the front has no continuity of the centre core!!!

Anyone know which route it takes and the best way to replace it?

Thx - Streaky

One of my cables was damaged by a trim screw behind the drivers seat. Go's from the radio, under the tunnel cover trim, under the carpet on the rear shelf and into the boot. Maplins probably do one, best to replace in one piece but if you can find the break and its in a secluded place try a repair, depends on reception.

Bet your cable takes a different route

Assuming it follow the same route - and the indications are that it does - what is the easiest way to remove it?

Can it be pulled from the front or the rear? What needs to be undone or 'eased' to facilitate its removal and replacement?

Thanks - Streaky

On mine I was able to lift the center trim a tad, after undoing the fag tray screw and after undoing part of the rear trim that held the back of it in place. That last piece of trim also formed a sort of edge over the carpet on the rear shelf that lifted up. Thence through a gromet to the boot. A few cars I have seen don't have this extra bit. Best described as a fibre glass board that slips down behind the pass/drivers seat to the full width of the car (over arch etc) and a bit of beading on the top that holds the carpet down.

Best guess is its along the same route but you will have to work out where the fixings are. On mine they are certainly different to the 350 I had.
