Hi guys. Had our 90 for seven years now. A glance at my profile will tell you just what a miracle that is and how much I rate the car. Fancy upgrading to a new one but can't decide whether to go 110 this time. It's only me and the g/f so space isn't an issue, although I guess it's always handy. TBO we much prefer the 'chunkie' more friendly(?) look of 90 - but have heard that 110 is a better drive on road (we don't do off road other than the occassional very gentle green lane). Any views on merits or otherwise of one over the other much appreciated.

Cheers

Pugs.

I had a 90, felt I needed a bit more space so got a 110, but now have a 90 again. The 110 felt much bigger and less manageable when parking or negotiating tighter corners (even after adjusting the steering locks).

The 110 probably was a bit more stable on the motorways though and much better for getting bikes in the back etc.

Didn't really notice any performance differences or economy differences between the two.

I would try and borrow one for a day from a dealer and see if you get on with it - they are quite different in character - both head and shoulders above "normal cars" though biggrin

The 90 looks soooo right. The 110 looks like they were designing a minibus and lost the will to live 3/4's of the way through.

Stick with the 90. Best vehicle ever made IMHO.

We have a 110, just bought a new one to replace our 8yr old 150k mile 110. Only reason for the 110 is for space for business use, if you dont need the space, get a 90.

Cheaper to buy (new), far more manouverable.

I'd say get another 90. They are more fun to drive, and if you dont need the extra space there is probably no point in having a 110.

cheers
